Laylah Beattie is a Dublin-based writer and model with Fraser modelling agency. She posts videos discussing a range of different issues on her YouTube channel. She mainly writes about mental health (she’s suffered from both depression and anorexia), harassment of LGBT+ citizens, body image, dating and life for a gender non-conforming citizen. She is currently undergoing a gender transition while modelling, maintaining a busy social life, producing YouTube videos, trying her best to live the life of a young person and investing her time in many other useful ventures. She has a broad set of skills ranging from writing to reviewing to presenting. She has previously published three books, two of which were released while she was still 18-years-old. Her previous appearances include the Late Late Show (live TV), the Ray D’Arcy show (live radio) and Vogue Williams on the Edge (TV documentary).
